Specialties: Mathematics, Statistical Analysis, Business Development, Data Analytics, Financial Modeling, Trading, Equity Research, Public SpeakingI have always loved numbers and statistics and have pursued that interest throughout my life. As a kid, I remember watching sports and being fascinated by the story one could tell with the statistics that players and teams produced. I would even make up my own statistics to decide who the best pitchers were, which players should make the NBA all star game, and which teams should qualify for the college football final. This type of analytical approach is something that I’ve continued to apply throughout my life, and especially now in my professional career. While math has always been an academic passion of mine, my interactions with other people are what really make me click. I have always enjoyed public speaking and believe my communication skills are one of my biggest assets. I even spent time honing my professional communication skills with public speaking and business writing classes in college.I have recently moved to Washington, D.C. from New York City. In New York, I worked as a Trading Analyst at Credit Suisse, an investment bank with worldwide reach. In this role, I worked to provide prices on trades to compensate Credit Suisse for the risk of a counterparty defaulting before a trade has expired. I also managed the foreign exchange risk for 10 major currency pairs, which required me to track market activity and to make daily trades on the open market in order to mitigate my team’s exposure to foreign exchange risk.I earned a BS in mathematics and a BS in finance from the University of Virginia, where I graduated in the spring of 2016.I am always open to connecting with and hearing from others, so feel free to reach out to me at any time!
