CurrentMichelle Mitchell has been interested in accounting since high school. She attends undergraduate school at Western Michigan University. She graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting. Upon completion of her undergraduate degree, she went on to work at several Fortune 500 companies working in positions from Accountant to Sr. Financial Analyst to Finance Director. In 2004, Michelle began working as an independent contractor for several companies who needed the expertise of a Chief Financial Officer without incurring the cost of a full time CFO. She began helping business owners understand the complex issues of their financial operations in terms that they could understand. In 2005, Michelle wanted to expand her business knowledge and in 2007 she graduated with a Master’s degree in Organizational Management. Michelle also received a Master’s degree in Career and Technical Education. Because of Michelle’s desire to help business owners develop, profitable well organized businesses, she incorporated Mitchell Consulting in 2011. Mitchell Consulting specializes in accounting and business consulting services. Michelle is a certified QuickBooks Proadvisor with clients in Holistic Health, Education, Nonprofit, Law and Financial Services Industries, Churches.
