As the National Security Sales leader, I am responsible for building programs/offerings and growing the cyber security practice in Canada. At BDO, I work with BDO Clients, Partners, Security practice leads to develop and deliver offerings that align between the needs of our customers and the core skills of our security practice. I also have the unique opportunity to develop and deliver offerings that align with BDO's global customers and align with our alignment with Microsoft as their Global Security Partner of the year (2023).

As the National Enterprise Security Advisor for Microsoft Canada, my objective is to work closely with our CISO community, bringing them together and align executives and boards across our enterprise customers to help reduce Cyber Risk and align to Security, Compliance and Privacy business objectives. As security threats continue to rise, skilled professionals remain scarce, there is an increasing need to bring customers and partners closer together, find common ground, new approaches and drive deeper security platform value and expansion. At Microsoft, my role is to bring our customer executives together with Microsoft and our partners to help advance each customer's security posture while diving cost reduction, simplification and a better user experience to retain and attract top talent while helping to advance the security skills of the existing teams.

Joining Microsoft in March of 2020, I was brought on to build out a security sales team and help Microsoft Canada grow and build our focused Canadian business with a team of Sales Specialists (10+) who are aligned with key customers. In parallel to building out the sales group, I had the unique opportunity through the first 18 months of COVID19 to introduce many partners to Microsoft and build out practices to support Security, Compliance and Zero Trust.

Working to protect our customers enterprises and digital assets with Micro Focus Security Solutions is what we focus on all day long. At Micro Focus, we help our customers by enabling security solutions at several layers within the security stack. First we start by gaining visibility to Security Incidents via real time correction and hunt capabilities with ArcSight. We then help customers identify vulnerabilities within their application source code (where 84% of all breaches occur) and/or protect these applications in real time with Fortify. We then take protection to the next level by helping our customers protect your Crown Jewels, PII, reduce PCI scope and become GDPR compliant with Voltage encryption and tokenization solutions. We protect what matters and make the data usable across the enterprise.

2007 - Leader for Software "Deal Making" Team - Dealmaker responsible for large complex deals and ELA's - Managed ELA Sales Cycles from concept to closure - Managed a team of 4 with annual ELA sales >$250M - Managed internal resources (indirectly) to align with ELA sales (Finance, Legal and Contracts) - Personally closed 27 ELA's and ELA renewals with total TCV ~$300M
