I started as a Sales Exec in the retention dept saving customers who wanted to leave the network whilst increasing profit and exploring avenues to add extra revenue streams to that account and turning one potential disconnection into a new 24 month contract with higher profit margin with a brand new account attached to it either insurance , additional lines broadband etc all through specific questioning and a sales process that I have developed through previous roles and self analysis on my own performance.After a 6 month period I was chosen to head up a specialist team that targeted low performers in the department and through side by side coaching giving instant feedback whilst on a call if necessary and after a call giving them a chance to practice what we had discussed would improve there performance then after a short period remotely monitoring to see if it had embedded into there calls wether it be call structure, objection handling, how to keep kpi's below target or how to introduce additional products from doing this over 3 months my team went through 64 employees which resulted in increasing performance between 175-300% on previous months After this I was then seconded to an assistant Team Leader which allowed to concentrate my efforts and skill on a smaller scaled team of around 12-15 people which I carried out for 15 monthsI am presently an upgrades Account Exec which involves me extending the customers stay with the network tying them into new contracts with as additional revenue streams as possible without them feeling the need to leave
