The construction process transforms plots of dirt into fully functioning facilities. As a construction manager, I work with multiple trade specialists as a unified team delivering one successful project. This includes site preparation & earthwork, concrete, masonry, structural steel, electrical, process piping/mechanical, HVAC, building controls & automation, and more. My experience includes confectionery wastewater management and landfill gas to renewable natural gas systems. Behind the scenes, I get to see what goes into keeping our waterways clean and economy running. As a construction manager on design-build, engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC), and construction management at-risk projects, I blend accuracy with quick thinking. With so many pieces of equipment, trade specialists at work, and surprises that come with the territory, I collaborate with the team to develop a game plan with the highest chance of success to keep the project on track. ▪️ Lead contractor safety orientations so that all team members are well-informed and ready to perform their tasks in a safe manner▪️ Oversee quality control, verifying construction aligns with plans and specifications, conducting material receiving inspections, maintaining pressure testing records, and completing concrete pour checklists▪️ Perform procurement and equipment tracking to provide Owners with real-time weekly status updates▪️ Work closely with engineers to resolve field issues▪️ Maintain daily photo records that enable Owners and the team to see real-time progress as the work advances▪️ Use Procore to track daily logs to record daily accomplishments and deliveriesPlease reach out with any construction questions.
