Mitchell is an Electrical Engineer and qualified EFM (Electrical Fitter Mechanic) who graduated from Griffith University BEng(Hons) Electrical & Electronics. Mitchell has completed successful tenures with engineering consulting, construction and utility services across commercial, industrial, mining and HV (High Voltage) T&D (Transmission and Distribution) sectors. Mitchell has demonstrated a broad and in-depth foundation of technical knowledge, industry practices and regulatory standards relating to HV and LV systems (upto 500 kV). Mitchell delivered his final year thesis project on Power Transformer Field Diagnostics in collaboration with Powerlink Queensland's Primary Services Support Team and Major Plant & Diagnostics Principal Engineers. Delivering technical and engineering field support for primary systems across Powerlink’s high voltage substations and transmission network, Mitchell has gained a wide range of exposure to various engineering activities having provided state-wide maintenance, commissioning, technical investigations and condition-based assessments on HV primary plant.
