With a genuine care for the communities with which we are privileged to partner, Savion delivers utility-scale solar and energy storage project development throughout the U.S.I am focused on overseeing and evaluating principal investments in solar, wind, and energy storage in North America along with the sale of projects in early stages of development as a part of portfolio optimization. Aside from my role in the development team, I played a key role in the sale process of Savion ultimately resulting in the sale of the company to Shell.

Aside from new investment review, I played a key role in the oversight, management, dissolution, and/or sale of new Alira Energy, Candela Renewables, and later on Savion.

With more than 15 gigawatts (GW) installed worldwide, First Solar believes that clean affordable solar electricity is an essential part of the worldwide energy mix. First Solar has developed, financed, engineered, constructed, and currently operates many of the world’s largest grid-connected PV power plants in existence. I supported this team by leading First Solar's Utah utility scale solar pv portfolio. Notable achievements included the contracting of the Cove Mountain and Cove Mountain Solar 2 projects with PacifiCorp to support Facebook in attaining their 100% renewable goals. My roles in Project Development includes:- Lead developer for First Solar's Utah and Oregon utility scale solar pv portfolio- Solar plus storage origination design and negotiation in Arizona- Supported development across New Mexico, Arizona, Nevada, and California - Identify, assess, and acquire potential solar project sites- Establish and maintain various development databases- Negotiate with and manage consultants and development subcontractors- Manage acquisition of options, leases, and easements with landowners- Assist in preliminary project design- Monitor regulatory requirements for solar projects across the west- Prepare commercial and utility origination offers- Support negotiations of power purchase agreements

My position in Project Development presented me with the opportunity to broaden my development experience beyond interconnection, permitting, and real estate and dive into development and origination. My role in this position included:- Prepared presentations evaluating utility-scale solar policy, key regions for growth, and classification/prioritization of key customers- Conducted market and economic analysis to support management decisions and strategic planning- Lead RFP response response requiring proposal preparation, pricing advice, and risk mitigation analysis- Prepared initial financial screening of solar projects- Tracked and reported on legislative and regulatory developments at state level- Other policy and market development research tasks identified by Project Development and team

My position in Project Execution gave me the opportunity to plan interconnection positions across California and the Southwestern United States while also supporting real estate acquisitions evaluation, state, local, and federal permitting processes, and the handoff of development assets to construction.
