In August of 2022, I became Chief Strategy Officer of Curaleaf, Inc., the largest Cannabis company in the world, where I was responsible for Strategy, M&A, Real Estate and International (with operating assets/businesses in the UK, Germany, Portugal & Spain). In October 2021, launched / IPO’d Achari Ventures Holdings Corp I, a $100mm SPAC focused on acquiring assets in ancillary (non-plant touching) cannabis. In Fall of 2020, assumed role of Interim CEO at a Hand in Hand Soap, an ESG-centric personal care company, building an infrastructure, recruiting an executive team, stabilizing finances, and optimizing product line; enabling Company to Manage and Sustain 13x YOY Revenue Increase. Facilitated sale to Bain Capital Double Impact Fund in March 2021.Previously responsible for global acquisitions, investments and business development for Clever Leaves International, one of the largest, multi-national, vertically integrated cannabis producers in the Western Hemisphere, which has raised over $120 million in financing. Clever Leaves merged with Schultze Special Purpose Acquisition Corp. in December 2020, and now trades under the ticker NASDAQ: CLVRPrior to that, completed a very successful 3-year stint as CEO of Beekman 1802, Inc. (www.beekman1802.com), capped off by a transformative transaction which resulted in Beekman emerging 5x its size in Revenue and 9x its size in EBITDA, with access to low cost growth capital, maximum accretion and preservation of co-founder control.
