I am a passionate leader and innovator in the field of cell therapy, gene therapy, RNA therapeutics, regenerative medicine and gene editing, with over 35 years of experience in the discovery and development of genetic medicines globally. Over my career, I have pioneered and developed many innovative approaches in genetic medicine from first in man through market launch, including discovery and development of four genetic medicines that are currently marketed products. Most recently, I was formerly a cofounder and the President of Research and Development of Elevate Bio, as well as CEO of its now wholly owned gene editing subsidiary Life Edit Inc. Currently I provide strategic advice to CEOs and Boards regarding directions for their genetic medicine programs, as well as input into genetic medicine therapeutic development.
