Team Bath Heart is a new competition team looking to create novel solutions to the problems faced with Total Artificial Hearts. Together with the rest of the core team, I helped with the forming of this team and looking to continue to grow it into my final year. Within the team I ran the business aspects, making sure that the design was feasible for the market. Alongside this I contributed to many technical aspects of the project such as the design of the pumping mechanism, iterative geometry changes based on FEA and looked at shear stresses of blood through CFD.

During my time at PA, I got a chance to develop my skills in designing a new commercial product by creating the perfect toast. In short time constraints I needed to work quickly with my partner to produce a proof of concept that could be presented to the de facto clients. The development included running brainstorms, performing in depth heat analysis, rapid prototyping and assembly of prototypes, electrical wiring and CAD design of a final product.
