KEY ACHIEVEMENTSEstablished an Integrated Project Team (IPT) to implement process improvements to the Cyber Security System of Systems (SoS) Network Vulnerability Assessment (NVA).Reduced the time to complete Phase 3 of the SoS NVA by 50% by integrating the SoS NVA process into the Army Interoperability Certification (AIC) program.Redefined the risk assessment criteria and aligned analysis and reporting with NIST SP 800-30.Integrated remote NVA capabilities resulting in a 54% increase in efficiency for conducting SoS NVA events. Leveraged remote NVA capabilities to increase the scope of SoS NVA without any increase in cost by integrating test systems located at CIO/G-6 Federated Net-Centric Sites (FaNS) distributed throughout CONUS.Leveraged efficiencies listed above to monitor network traffic concurrently with Interoperability and Backwards Compatibility testing during AIC Events, effectively increasing NVA Phase 1 data collection time from 2 days to 32 days in preparation for Phase 2 of the SoS NVA.Leveraged efficiencies listed above to expand the scope of the SoS NVA to include Air Defense Artillery, Aviation, and Ground Weapon System platforms.RESPONSIBILITIESCoordinate with Army Futures Command (AFC) Lethality, Survivability and Human Systems Integration (LSH) to conduct SoS NVA of Software Blocks (SWB) and Common Operating Environments (COE) in the Warfighter Mission Area (WMA).Analyze security requirements and SoS NVA reports; assess the operational risk to the SoS; recommend mitigation actions; prepare and disseminate memorandums to HQDA Staff, ISSMs, and key stakeholders.Develop and maintain support agreements, budget, invoices, and other financial documentation for work performed in support of SoS NVA.Provide input to support the development of Army policy memorandums to comply with new and updated DoD mandates.Recommend changes to the appropriate DoD, Joint, and Army policies to ensure requirements are met.
