I am an HR professional with the skills, experience, and likely the personality that would seamlessly integrate into a successful HR department. I am an international MBA graduate that has chosen to pursue HRM for both career and personal reasons. Professionally, my educational background and hands-on experience with the HR function compels me to become an expert in the field. Personally, understanding human behavior and its effects on business outcomes intrigues and motivates me. Discovering how to influence behavior in the workplace to achieve optimal results for the organization and employees alike is a challenge I’m eager to undertake. This would enable me to utilize my pragmatic and cooperative approach to problem solving. In addition to organizational behavior, I have strong interests in negotiation, legal compliance, and the strategic integration of corporate and HR departmental strategies. My educational background began by pursuing a business degree as I decided which field I would thrive and find fulfillment. HR was quickly a fit. After immersing myself in HR classes, leading the UNCW HR association, and connecting with local professionals I knew I would be a contributing member among peers. Upon graduating, I was faced with a decision: begin my career or further my education. I took time to consider all factors and ultimately decided I wanted to continue my education and gain international experience. In the UK, I learned invaluable knowledge regarding global sourcing, strategic policy integration, and data analytic research in the form of a now published thesis. Additionally, I gained a larger understanding of global diversity and international cooperation. Completing this MBA has solidified my ability to take on a role and effectively apply the knowledge I’ve gained to any organization’s challenges. The coursework I undertook during the international program assisted me in realizing a few of my greatest strengths. Overall, I adopted a systems-based approach to problem solving that allows me to see the big picture of organizational change and how altering existing policies and procedures can affect business performance. I further developed an analytical approach allowing me to identify core problems and conduct research to solve these in the long term. I have great interest in coaching others on this way of thinking and how they can implement it into their own jobs. A leadership and management development course I took in England taught me the skills necessary to successfully share these methods,
