CurrentChemicals Company - Business Case for TMS Implementation:•Compiled a business case to present the company’s baseline spend, that analyzed 13 potential cost savings scenarios, revolving around consolidations, carrier selections, demurrage reduction, and route optimizations, for a possible annual savings range of $13.1M - $55.2MConsumer Goods Company - Routing and Load Building Optimization:•Improved routing process by creating current state mapping based on interviews, walkthroughs, and creating a standardized centralized SOP, devising future state processes with goals to reduce freight spending, while developing training programs, and reducing manual work•Gathered and Cleansed transportation data to be loaded into Load Building Simulator, which was used to execute a pilot where annual savings of $21M - $25M were identified, with majority driven from cube variance adjustments, delivery window shifts, and loading optimizations•Developed KPIs and a Power BI dashboard to increase E2E transportation visibilityLife Sciences Company- Freight Order Management and Transportation Management Systems Implementation:•Business Process Designer/Lead for a Blue Yonder Inbound FOM and TMS implementation that covered E2E from Purchase Order Upload to Carrier Tender Acceptance•Configured FOM to meet client’s needs, structured out different roles for buyers and suppliers, as well as created the API uploads for master data to populate in the systems, while established relationships to connect the FOM-TMS Bridge•Oversaw and led multiple workstreams that involved: managing tariff team in their task to complete setting up all rates correctly and in time for Go-Live, 3PL team’s UAT progress and Go-Live troubleshooting, and working with Blue Yonder to create solutions where applicable, while pushing for technical changes and workarounds when business needs did not meet system ability•Trained client and 3PL on FOM, TMS, and how to troubleshoot unrouteables and exception scenarios
