- I chose to major in economics because it can apply to so many different areas. I like to have as much information as I can to make my choices. I can use this information to draw out why decisions are being made and be proactive in the future. This is important to me because I want to know what is going on and helps me make decisions because I am detail oriented. - I look for cause and effect relationships when studying observations, allowing me to break down large quantities of information and assess what is important. I seek any information that will help me make decisions about the problem at hand. I am driven to be better than the person I was yesterday, and am excited to be in an environment in which my surroundings hold me accountable. - I am fascinated by investment management, and the different strategies available to analyze and value investments, and then building a portfolio of said investments. I am learning about the role that corporate governance plays in valuing companies, and am preparing to sit for CFA Level I in November 2024. - My proficiencies are in primary research, team collaboration, speaking with clients, presentation skills, data cleaning, data analysis, HubSpot, Zotero, Trello, Tableau, and Google/Microsoft software. - My goal for the rest of 2024 and 2025 is to become well versed in the sections of the CFA course, so that I can become trained and get more information and knowledge because I know it will be useful later.- Feel free to reach out to me email at mitchellsjackson43@gmail.com or 214-808-0548
