With Flaherty & Collins I worked alongside multiple developers, developing high end, market rate multi-family housing. Along with absorbing the corporate culture I: - Performed market studies in various markets to derive rents for apartments.- Assembled RFP’s and presented in front of Kansas City Council for selection.- Generated proformas to effectively foresee properties’ financials.

During my time with Duke Realty I really got to experience all aspects of the real estate industry. It was a very interactive experience that made me want to pursue real estate. During my time there I: - Constructed credit reviews for potential tenants and generated financial reports for current tenants.- Produced commercial building sale comparisons to identify the optimal sale of current company real-estate.- Analyzed offering memorandums to make calculated purchases. - Created and edited tenant lease estoppels to make them compatible with new lease agreements.

During my internship the company was changing the way in which they recorded and displayed school and student financial information. Much of my tasks included making the current information compatible with the system, Qlikview. - Formatted data using Excel in order for me to create visual representation and derive trends and patterns in the information.- Researched and recovered over $350,000 in unclaimed funds.- Altered all of the company’s records to make them compatible with Qlikview as the company transitioned to the new business intelligence program.
