As the Creative Services Director for Weigel Broadcasting in Milwaukee I managed a cross functional creative team in the development of station promotions, image campaigns and sales production for CBS 58, Milwaukee’s independent station the M, and Telemundo Wisconsin. During my time with the station group I provided creative leadership, art direction and marketing strategy during a period of tremendous growth and change, for the brand and for the station. Through the extension of our news product, the addition of a locally produced CBS 58 Sunday Morning program (created as a companion piece to the nationally produced CBS Sunday Morning), and a complete set and newsroom rebuild, CBS 58 was transformed into a modern, relevant and forward thinking news brand.

As Supervising Producer for FOX 5 San Diego’s creative services department, I managed a team of talented producers in the development of results driven local television commercials, campaigns and sponsored station promotions from concept to post. I met with clients to distill their marketing needs, turning them into effective media strategies. I worked closely with our in-house sales managers and marketing staff and coordinated with local advertising agencies to develop marketing strategies and manage brands. Proudly served as an elected Governor and Web committee Chair to the National Academy Of Television Arts and Sciences Pacific Southwest Chapter. Led the effort to redesign the website http://nataspsw.org/ and provided creative direction for the new look of the site and the new graphics design for the Pacific Southwest Emmy® Awards. Personally designed most of the website graphics and the new NATAS PSW EMMY® Awards motion graphics package.

As a Producer/Editor for i-SAFE I created television programming and online educational multimedia content for the world’s leading Internet safety education organization. My principal role was the development of new and innovative educational video and curriculum based software tools to deliver messages of e-Safety and technological responsibility to schools and communities around the world. Working with partners like, Microsoft, ASCAP, RIAA, DOD, DOJ, and the US Patent and Trademark Office, my responsibilities encompassed all aspects of production including script development, producing, directing, camera operation, editing, branding and motion graphic design. I also worked to transition our brand to include new media presence with the development of our YouTube channel, a television pilot called iDrive TV and the creation of a Google Themes For Causes package. www.iSAFE.org

Over the years I've had some fantastic freelance opportunities, from press kits for a Vatican commissioned composer to game show presentations to interactive casino way-finding and jackpot celebrations. I've enjoyed periods of freelance/self employment over the years and it's been a terrific and rewarding ride.

As a lead creative for this digital out of home network provider, I had an amazing opportunity to create innovative and engaging motion graphic and video advertising content for some of the most recognizable brands in the Casino/Hospitality industry. Names like Harrah's, Caesar's, Hard Rock, House of Blues, Bally's, Paris, Horseshoe,The World Series of Poker, and for entertainers like Wayne Newton, Jerry Seinfeld, Celine Dion, Bill Cosby and the list goes on. It was a fun time to be in Vegas and a creative opportunity unlike any other.
