A love for analyzing cause and effect relationships in markets while applying rigorous mathematics led me to major in economics at Brigham Young University. Late in my education, a mentor encouraged me to overcome my hard bias against a career in business and pursue a role in consulting. I will be forever grateful to this wise mentor!Opportunities at a boutique consulting firm coupled with internal consulting and operations work at a private equity-backed technology company prepared me well for business school. I received my MBA from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business where I graduated top of my class. I joined McKinsey & Company out of their Dallas and Rocky Mountains offices, and have since transitioned to the COO role for a Series A startup called Grain. We apply AI to meeting recording, transcription, and notetaking.I strive to live a principally-based personal and professional life. My personal mission is to be true to my identity and purpose always and in every circumstance, to be humble and ever willing to listen and learn, and to spend my life in the service of others. My leadership coaching philosophy is that every human being has more potential than I can see in them or even possibly begin to understand. I must help others discover that potential within themselves and achieve it.
