As the Digital Sales Manager for WHTM, my primary role was to grow revenue through a variety of opportunities for local, regional, and national clients. I managed online advertising for abc27.com and other abc27 digital properties, including mobile sites and the on-air digital weather channel. I also worked with LIN Digital, our in-house digital agency, to develop digital campaigns with SEM, social media, SEO, targeted banner and video placement, mobile campaigns, and more. I interfaced with Account Executives and management on a daily basis regarding current campaigns and brainstorming new ideas for prospects, as well as ways to optimize campaigns currently online. I managed online advertising for WGAL.com, the website counterpart to WGAL-TV. I was the primary liaison between Sales, Promotion, and News for digital initiatives. I researched and monitored campaigns and other initiatives through DoubleClick/DART and worked with an offsite team at Internet Broadcasting to design creative for clients. I conducted ongoing training sessions that kept WGAL and sister stations up-to-date with the latest technology, internal procedures, and social media.
