Subject Matter Expert; Post Production Technologies; Home Entertainment Feature Mastering and Media Distribution Pipeline, as it relates to the following new technologies:- Ultra High-Definition (UHD/4K)- High Dynamic Range (ST.2084), including both Static and Dynamic Metadata, - High Efficiency Video Coding (HEVC/H.265)- Wide Color Gamut (P3, REC2020) and Color Processing- Display Technologies (LCD/LED, OLED Panels)- Diagnostic Tools (Scopes, Measurement Devices, Spectroradiometers- Mastering of Feature Productions using the SMPTE Interoperable Master Format•Designed, Developed, and Maintain the Fox Advanced Tech Lab on the Fox Studios Lot•Chosen and Participating in the Fox High Potential Program of Advanced Leadership Executive Program. •Research, develop, and design new and emerging technologies in the field of Advanced Formats; High Dynamic Range (HDR), Ultra-High Definition (UHD) and Wide Color Gamut (WCG) for Feature and TV Episodic Mastering and advanced compression. •Design, Develop, Lead and Advance the Interoperable Master Format (IMF) for all Home Video Feature and TV Episodic Archival and Service Masters. Develop Internal Specification based on SMPTE Standards. Work with Mastering Tool Vendors, to ensure that specifications are met, and develop advanced workflows to maximize efficiencies and maintain the highest quality of source content. •Design, Develop, Lead and Advance HDR Mastering for all Fox Features•Design, Develop, Lead and Advance HEVC Compression Technologies, JPEG200, ProRes and other advanced formats to support UHD and HDR. •Work closely with Home Video Mastering Scheduling, Marketing, Finance, Post-Production and Production Executives to gain consensus, and implement technology related to Grading, Mastering, and Distribution•Chair of the SMPTE 35PM – 2067-9 Sidecar Composition Map Working Group•Evaluate and Develop Signal Processing and Signal Evaluation tools
