Having worked in a variety of roles from a warehouse worker, to a call center agent, to a shift supervisor, one of the most useful, and important skills that I have developed and refined through all of them are my people skills. Regardless of how much or little I knew of the job that was assigned to me, the ability to read others and effectively communicate with my team what I was able to do for them and what I would need further assistance with was a vital skill that I realized I would need to refine the most for me to stay adaptable. Of course I've picked up other personable skills along the way as well within the past few years. Some of these skills include team building and task management from my time at an Amazon warehouse working as a Process Guide where I assisted associates in learning their new workstations along with learning about their work styles and how I could best train and work with each individual associate. I also assisted in helping them familiarize themselves with their coworkers and how they could best work with each other individually. Whatever task may be assigned to me, I will do my best to learn and understand it, be open to asking for assistance when I don't, and continue to move forward through the circumstances of life that have yet to come.
