The Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief (HADR) Institute is a public company, NGO and registered charity that enables humanitarian crisis and disaster response. This is achieved through needs driven analysis, predictive forecasting and research, development of accessible decision enhancing technology and humanitarian operational support services. The company was built in the aftermath of a sequence of national and regional disasters from 2019 to 2021, based on the lessons and capabilities that supported response and recovery from these events. The company aims to transfer these capabilities to the benefit of civil society to enhance global relief efforts, disaster risk reduction and the protection and promotion of human rights. HADR Institute combines disaster monitoring, analysis and technology innovation with domain expertise to generate a comprehensive approach for understanding disaster risk.As CEO I have overseas the establishment of the NGO, charity registration, establishment of core capabilities, international aid and assistance programs, training programs and technology developments alongside our diverse and talented team of humanitarian and DRR practitioners.Key areas of focus include:Asia Pacific with a focus on complex crises in Myanmar/Burma and Papua New Guinea. IntColab created a free to access mobile application that enabled real time monitoring of multihazard disaster events across the globe. The business was subsequently transferred to establish the HADR Institute, which built upon the technology.

In 2014 MADR was a nationally competitive running club and association as a part of the Australian Defence Force Academy (ADFA). The club was in the top 5 performing clubs for the Australian Running Festival, held over 150 members and was a leading charity provider in the ACT for multiple public health initiatives. During my time as club President, I introduced the club to competing in Ultra-Marathon events, in particular the Inward Bound event in collaboration with the Australian National University (ANU).
