Small business startup. Started Alchemy Glassworks with a SBA loan and grew the business to $100,000 in sales from zero in 3 years. Responsible for all aspects of business development, sales, marketing and production. Developed coatings systems for glass, plastic, and electroless plating systems for custom decorative glass including backpainted glass, specialty mirrored glass, large format laser etching, waterjet cutting of any material, custom color matched acrylic sheets and other specialty decorative applications. AGW produced unique and custom designs and colors for furniture, architectural and residential.

Manage a team of technical professionals responsible for new product development of coatings, elastomers and quality control for Spraylat Corporation. Maintain ISO requirements for Spraylat's Chicago laboratory. Evaluated existing systems and developed new systems to improve performance, reduce costs and increase product offerings. Act as project manager for the development of novel materials between Spraylat and the University of Southern Mississippi School of Polymer Engineering. Interface directly with sales and customers on materials, line trials and process technical issues worldwide.

Evaluated design constraints limiting production throughput, quality and developed systems for retrofit or new constructions to eliminate these constraints.
