Teach courses as part of the Community and Economic Development Program: Introduction to CAED, Stakeholder Sensitive Business Models, Grant Writing and Management, and Final Thesis Projects

• Lead CCE Community Development programs, which focus on key issue areas for Jefferson County, NY including: energy efficiency & development, value added food production, producer and food business support, food access and scarcity, workforce development, & soldier and family readiness• Apply for grant funding as relevant to key issue areas related to community development needs in Jefferson County• Direct CCE Jefferson’s Energy Program work under the North Country Clean Energy Hub, in partnership with the Adirondack North Country Association• Work with Fort Drum government service managers to ensure that CCE staff are trained, have access to resources, and deliver programs that meet the needs of the Soldier and Family Readiness Division• Oversee operations of the North Country Taste NY Store located in Alexandria Bay, NY• Co-facilitate the Jefferson County Food Policy Council, keep participants and member organizations engaged in efforts to improve food access in Jefferson County, NY• Manage fiscal and contractual operations for the Northern New York Agriculture Development Program• Collaborate with community partners to assess how various resources and organizations may work together to solve local issues as they relate to community and economic development• Track program reporting outcomes to ensure work in the Community Development area is achieving objectives that result in improved quality of life for Jefferson County residents

• Manage $2.6M in grant funds annually to facilitate implementation of afterschool educational programs for over 1000 youth in grades K–12• Hire, train and supervise a department of up to 90 staff within 18 school buildings in Jefferson and Lewis Counties• Work with superintendents, principals, grant administrators, advisory committees and funding sources to include NYS Education Department and NYS Office of Children and Family Services, to ensure all outcomes are achieved/succeeded• Maintain a data system to track attendance, academics, behavior outcomes on 1000+ youth that received afterschool support services, work with independent evaluators on program evaluation• Develop systems that allow 4-H Afterschool Programs to maintain full compliance with multiple yearly inspections from Community Action Planning Council, NYS Office of Children and Family Services, NYS Child & Adult Care Food Program, NYS Department of Health, NYS Education Department. As such, maintaining full compliance each inspection• Assist with Cornell University special research projects to include Building Community Legacies Together Intergenerational Research Study, Social Media Testdrive, Cornell Nestwatch Citizen Science Project, and Economic Decision Making Study, Student Spaceflight Experiments Project• Collaborate with community partners such as Jefferson Community College, WPBS-TV, Watertown Family YMCA, BOCES, Community Action Planning Council, Cornell University, New York State 4-H Office

• Manage approximately $800,000 in grant funds annually to facilitate implementation of extended school day programs, community events, and student-led business programs• Write grants in an effort to sustain and expand extended school day learning opportunities• Supervise 28 staff members within 4 different schools to provide programming to youth of all ages throughout Jefferson County• Develop and implement curriculum for student lead entrepreneurship programs in multiple school districts. • Guide students to design, market, and sell products using makerspace technology (3D printers, laser engravers, CNC routers)• Work directly with school superintendents and principals in multiple school districts to develop programs that effectively serve the community• Implement research studies in partnership with Cornell University to include the Bronfenbrenner Center for Translational Research, Cornell Lab of Ornithology, and PRYDE Living with Purpose Research Study

• Resolve technology issues presented by staff working remotely, in the field, and across three counties• Design and manage the website and social media marketing components for The Rowland Center, Inc.• Assist in position marketing and recruitment for open positions

• Prepare educational content that satisfies the Department of Defense goal to assist military officials with plans to build community capacity by integrating local organizations into plans for total force fitness and military family readiness for deployment• Work with a national team of educators and social media specialists from various land grant universities to create educational content for military families• Provide updates on relevant research and programs of excellence that demonstrate strong military-community partnerships• Connect officials in all branches of the military and Department of Defense with the resources of the land grant university system through national marketing campaigns

• Created engaging lessons making use of collaborative learning, differentiated instruction and various mediums of technology to engage 11th & 12th Grade students• Coordinated multiple community service programs for student participation• Advised Student Council, organized fundraising events• Contributed to school policies, events and health campaigns as a member of the Health and Wellness Committee • Created a History Club for cultural enrichment and involvement with the Henderson Historical Society
