Mitch Brown is Vice President of Cybersecurity Technology Resiliency Risk Oversight (CTRRO) within the Second Line of Defense (2LoD) at American Express. Prior to this role, Mitch led Internal Audit Group's Cybersecurity & IT Audit team.Prior to joining American Express, Mitch was a Risk Assurance Director for PwC, where he worked with highly regulated clients to overcome a variety of risk and control challenges, IT/security assessments, regulatory compliance/sanctions, internal audits, and other risk related activities across all three lines of defense. Mitch began his career in IT in help desk and network management, which was the catalyst to pursuing a career in IT risk management.Mitch prides himself in being a leader who develops others, seeks new challenges, and "connects the dots." When he is offline, you will find Mitch outdoors with his wife and three kids exploring the Phoenix area, likely a hiking trail, dance studio, or waterpark.
