Joining the cable industry during the frenetic franchising and build days of the 1980's were exciting days. For the self-motivated, there was unlimited opportunity to learn, grow, and develop. Looking back over the years I've had the privilege and opportunity to meet, collaborate and learn from some quite gifted and talented leaders, engineers, visionaries, and communicators. Many of these folks went on to shape and influence the broadband industry in a variety of ways. Transforming what was quite humble beginning of analog cable TV; fast forward into the present, in a world that has fully expects the ubiquity, robustness and resilience of the US broadband telecom infrastructure.
