Member of DevOps team reponsible for the automation of Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) in a Software Defined Data Center (SDDC), including Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Database as a Service (DBaaS) using VMWare vRealize Orchestrator and vRealize Automation. This included integration with Active Directory, Identity Management System, CMDB and document management systems for IQ/OQ, providing end-to-end provisoning with no manual intervention. Designed the global System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) 2012 hierarchy and migration plan from SCCM 2007. Created Powershell scripts for automation of converting packages to applications, migrating packages, creating collections, deployments, role-based access control, and integration with other in-house or third party systems. Designed the Security Update process including automated updates for Endpoint Protection. Prior to this, responsible for the design, deployment, and support of SCCM 2007 global hierarchy used to manage over 150,000 Windows Workstations and over 15,000 Windows Servers in 250 locations. Other related projects included integration with Amazon Workspaces to manage AWS workstations and servers. Citrix integration to manage VDI workstations. Workarounds with Office 365 deployments. Additional tasks included extensive SQL reporting, Desired Configuration Management (DCM), custom inventory extensions via SCCM MOF. Integrated with Flexera App Portal for Software Self-Service. Deployment and troubleshooting of OSD task sequences. Designed strategy for managing FDA or SOX regulated systems by use of Service Windows and tight security to prevent unintended deployments to protected systems. Extensive troubleshooting of all aspects of SCCM with detailed knowledge of client and server logs. Extensive work in improving SCCM client health and improving managed client saturation. Provided third-level support as well as informal training and mentoring for other team members.
