Service Manager
Current• Develop the capacity of my teams to perform and contribute by providing leadership, supervision, coaching/mentoring, feedback and opportunities to learn through formal and informal methods.• Attend state-wide Managers’ meetings to speak about the team’s achievements, share practice tips, and gather relevant information for dissemination to staff.• Provide mentoring and coaching to staff to support them to meet their career goals, including discussing potential courses and upskilling options.• Work to ensure team Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and contractual obligations are met.• Establish and communicate clear direction for the effective operations of all locations/Employee Services Area (ESAs).• Set objectives and priorities, promote effective teamwork and innovative solutions.• Be accountable and transparent to the Regional Manager with respect to business risk, governance, contractual and financial performance.• Ensure placement rates are achieved across all locations/ESAs in line with approved budgets.• Represent atWork Australia at public forums and on various committees as required.• Liaise with local community providers to build relationships to achieve direct registration pathways.• Build up a reliable resource base of service providers across Toowoomba and surrounds.• Provide important education on employment barriers and community stigmas to all stakeholders.• Maintain accurate and complete records in compliance with organisational policies.Focus/Achievement:- Lead eight staff across the Toowoomba and Townsville regions.- Participate as one of two representatives from Queensland in the first round of the national Emerging Leaders Program for the organisation.- Conduct monthly individual performance reviews for staff to enable conversations of positive feedback and potential for growth, including supporting the pursuit of formal qualifications.- Perform weekly quality assurance checks for data and staff performance.
