Started with Investor Relations as Claris went Public in 2010. Over the years, have taken care of all external facing financial functions like Public Relations, Media Relations, Corporate Finance, Treasury and Corporate Strategy etc. Some of my key learnings include the Listing of the company on the BSE, traveling the world to meet investors and getting some of the largest pharma funds to invest in the company, raising the largest debts in the history of the company for certain strategic projects, front ended Two M&A transactions creating a value of around a bn dollars and delisting of the company from the stock exchange, all of this in less than a decade.

We provided wealth management services to HNIs and Corporates, on the back of my previous experiences in the Financial Services industry. We scaled very fast and were managing around 550 Crores of equity AUM, at the peak of our business.Post the 2008 crisis due to some personal issues, re-evaluated the wealth management sector and decided to end the entrepreneurial run and move back to a professional role.

The hands-on training and exposure shaped my early career, whereas winning the ‘Best Sales Manager’ award for 11 out of 12 times (monthly awards) during my tenure at the company; was a huge confidence booster.One of my biggest learning from this role was understanding the power of networking, which helped me build my strength as a relator and shaped the extrovert in me, the two strengths that would help me grow in future.
