Joined as Senior Manager in Nov 2012 and promoted twice to position of AGM.o Played a key role in framing an international strategy at UltraTech Cement ltd.o Evaluated various cement M&A deals in International markets (Worked on acquisition of Lafarge Holcim Assets in Philippines and Brazil (Deal Size: > USD 1 Bn), Regional operating and under construction cement companies in Indonesia (Deal Size: USD 100 Mn – USD 1000 Mn), mineral based company in Sri-Lanka and concluded acquisition of one mineral based company in Oman. Carried out / Co-ordinated associated due-diligence, financial models and prepared detailed presentations for the management.

During stint in project finance department, was involved in debt financing of more than Rs.5,500 Crs for 10 mn tons cement plant in Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra encompassing project appraisal, legal documentation, presentation to the bankers, preparing & negotiating on key terms and pre-disbursement conditions for disbursements.

Part of the Core Strategy Team at Reliance Cementation, reporting to senior industry leaders Ex-MD, Ambuja Cement Ltd. and ACC. Worked in varied roles such as EA to Vice Chairman, EA to CEO, Part of Corporate Strategy team and finally as Manager, Project Finance team. Key responsibility areas included:o Corporate Strategy: Part of core team for preparation and presentation of the blue-print for Reliance ADAG business entry in to cement businesso M&A: Coordinating with investment bankers to source M&A deals in cement sector, preparing detailed valuation models, conducting/coordinating financial and legal due diligence on the target companies, involved in preparation and negotiation on term sheet and finally making presentations to the management on opportunities evaluated

Worked as investment analyst to evaluate opportunities in private equity space. iCAN was an Investment Advisory Company to 2 Foreign funds, namely, Geneva based Notz Stucki & Cie and Paris based Comgest with USD 600 Mn under management along with USD 100 Mn private equity fund for investment in small to mid-sized companies. iCAN was headed by Mr.Anil Singhvi, Ex MD, Ambuja Cements Ltd.
