Thanks a lot for visiting my profile. I am pleased to inform you that I have taken up a new role as Research scholar at International Rice Research Institute (IRRI). I am currently working at Consumer Driven Grain Quality and Nutrition Cluster (CDGQN) with particular emphasis on using CRISPR-Cas9 mediated genome editing approach for grain quality and nutritional trait improvement in rice. I have a Masters degree in Biotechnology from Institute of Bioinformatics and Biotechnology, Savitribai Phule Pune University.My research interests are in the fields of biotic and abiotic stress tolerance in plants, sustainable agriculture and food security, plant microbe interactions. I am looking forward to connect with people having similar research interests for future collaborative work efforts. Cheers!
