* Creating and prioritizing necessary resources and steps required to accomplish ship/ boat building/ repairing goals on time.* Working in workshop and sites where ships/ boats are under construction or repairing* Managing the teams of builders and surveyors within the hull construction and outfitting disciplines.* Overseeing the distribution, quality control and monitoring of daily work activities of all team members.* Acting proactively in enforcing remarks, defects and other non-conformities identified from past projects.* Overseeing the delivery of inspections within allocated disciplines.* Supervising all matters relating to steel fabrication, paint and sub decking application including, with specific knowledge of, but not limited to welding, grinding, surface & steel preparation, fairing and dimensional verification etc.* Managing and maintaining good working relationships with the inspection groups of the classification societies and other regulatory bodies at the shipyards.* Ensuring up-to-date awareness of the rules and regulations of the Classification Societies and other applicable regulatory authorities referred to in the ship specification and/or contract.* Health, Environment, Safety, Security (HESS) Responsibilities* Communicating with clients and third parties to report on progress and respond to customer service issues promptly.* Developing customer satisfaction goals and coordinating with the team to meet them on a steady basis.* Overseeing the construction of marine vessels and equipment to ensure their quality and integrity.* Co-managing all procurement activities including tendering processes, evaluation, contracting, contract management, legal considerations and payment conditions, contractors, performance evaluation, risk assessment, and sustainability.* Working with management to implement changes to procurement processes as requested.* Reviewing purchase terms and conditions; negotiating vendor purchase orders and contracts.
