Originally conceptualized in 2017, as a project during full-time post-secondary school and work, I created unique multimedia pieces, focused on paper and wood products. In 2020, in the midst of a pandemic, I registered my business and haven't looked back. Our Watered Grass is an e-commerce boutique with a focus on handmade, women-owned pieces and original designs. Offering a variety of products including office and home decor, including notebooks and stickers, as well as giftables, such as amirugimi and wood-burned ornaments. This business currently serves as a store for custom packaging and labels for small businesses as well as an official Canadian retailer for the premium notebook brand, Archer & Olive.

This position required a high level of time management and self-directed work to perform all duties of this role. It was focused on social media marketing and office management requirements to assist in meeting all business objectives of the organization.Duties included:• Responsible for creating and maintaining all social media platforms for the company.• Including an increase in Instagram content consistency and engagement. • Responsible for curating, presenting, editing all content for social media.• Responsible for updating the website with new media, as required.• Created and maintained branding marketing materials and stock.• Maintained and organized the administration of the office, included ordering office supply levels, managing office equipment, scheduling photoshoots, performing receptionist duties.• Provided professional and friendly service to all clients and guests• Responsible for event planning, including in-office and external events.• Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, Illustrator• Other duties, as assigned.

This position required a strong work ethic with a personable and engaging skill level. Mosaic - West Region (Alberta, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, British Columbia)• Following continued success with the previous role, role was moved to this area. • Working closely with another recruiter, all of Launch! West region needs were filled successfully. • This role included training and supporting a new member to become better integrated.Achievements included the needs in Saskatchewan and Manitoba being completed filled within one month of this role. Mosaic (Ontario )• Initially trained and worked in South Ontario, hiring and recruiting for the Launch! program under supervision of an experienced recruiter.

This was a part-time position while being in post-secondary school full-time. It required a excellent customer service and time management skills to manage the workload. It was focused on retail sales and improvement of the store, on a consistent basis and during the high volume holiday season.• Trained for various positions on the customer service team.• First hand experience working in the retail environment during the holiday seasons.• Transferable skills include cashier roles and cash office training.• Experienced warehouse, sales floor and fitting room associate.
