I recently graduated from the Master’s in Real Estate Development + Design (MRED+D) program at UC Berkeley's College of Environmental Design. My focus is on affordable and mixed-income housing development, land use, and small-scale development, with a commitment to creating equitable, sustainable, and community-oriented housing projects for underrepresented populations.Originally from Pune, India, I moved to California in 2016 to pursue a bachelor’s degree in architecture at the California College of the Arts, where I developed a passion for affordable housing. This led me to a role with Leddy Maytum Stacy Architects (LMSA). I contributed to impactful projects like the 160 Freelon 100% affordable housing project and collaborated on The Guide to Mission-Driven Design.More recently, I worked with Black Oak Group, a small-scale development firm, where I engaged in projects that preserved local character while enhancing community value. As I look forward, my entrepreneurial aspirations center on single-family and multi-family residential real estate, with a focus on strengthening and preserving communities.I also hold leadership roles in organizations such as Bay Area Young Architects and the American Institute of Architects SF. I stay actively engaged in the professional community while seeking new opportunities in the real estate development sector.
