Specialised in two rotations: Asset Management (6 months) and Maintenance and Construction Management (8 months).Asset Management: 1. Pavement and resurfacing condition assessment for Wheatbelt road network. 2. Involved in utilising and updating IRIS (asset inventory) to reflect network updates and completed capital works within the Wheatbelt region. 3. Assisted in annual works program for periodic maintenance such as reseal and pavement repairs including drainage and shoulder maintenance program. 4. Validating and closing out defects from MMIS (Maintenance Management Information Systems) after completion of shoulder grading and reconditioning. 5. Assisted road safety/network operation team in preparing a preliminary assessment of fatal crash investigations. 6. Prepared drawings utilising AutoCAD for proposed cross-sections for shoulder widening and minor improvements to existing driveways. 7. Basic understanding of data visualisation and mapping of road condition data using ArcGIS Pro.Construction and Maintenance Management: 1. Creating a detailed Drainage scope of works technical report for the Maintenance Manager for tendering including technical specifications. 2. Prepared Scope of works for guardrail repairs in the Wheatbelt road network including specifications, an environmental plan and supervision of the construction process ensuring the contractor is meeting specifications. 3. Assisted Maintenance manager in culvert replacements and headwall repairs to ensure contractor compliance with MainRoads specifications and drawings. 4. Using MMIS (Maintenance Management Information Systems) to create routine maintenance program. 5. Investigating road failures notified by the public and providing an appropriate temporary treatment before a long-term fix can be put into place.
