I am pivoting my career to the next stage – consisting of Boards, plus other work that is of interest e.g. strategic advisory, diagnostics/reviews, executive mentoring and coaching, and active investing.As an executive, I have been a transformation expert who has driven service delivery improvement, breakthrough operational improvement, large-scale productivity improvement and digital/technology transformation; including building high performance organisations to sustain the gains.This is coupled with diagnostic, strategy, finance, sales and growth experience – including scale-ups and in M&As. More recently, I have had deep exposure in talent management/development, performance management, and remuneration/rewards. I have successfully pivoted across industry domains – most notably: professional services, mining and infrastructure, telecommunications and government. In my private endeavours, I am pursuing sustainability interests (health, social equity, energy transition and education).I have formal qualifications in computer science (BSc), an MBA, chartered accounting (FCA – including tax, audit and risk) and governance (FAICD). I’ve further supplemented this with education in digital transformation, innovation and design, cybersecurity, energy transition and executive coaching. Singapore-born, I migrated to Australia early in my career and have close personal and professional connections across both South-East Asia and Australia.Over the last 20 years, whilst driving a full-time career, I have contributed back to the community on Boards across education, health and child protection; and hands-on as a lifesaver.In all matters professional, I live by a simple mantra: make impact, collaborate, learn and have fun.
