Duties and Responsibilities:• Conduct visual inspection before, during and after welding to the given specification or work instructions.• Checking weld preparation and welding environment is as per WPS.Coordinate NDT activities on weld and vessel joints.• Preparation of Daily Welding Reports and approval from clients.Inspection of welding Consumables and raw materials.• Co-ordinate final inspection with the client as per approved procedures and drawings.• Work with both Internal and external customers, to determine the root cause of any non-conformances, and implements corrective actions.• Ensure welders to the relevant work instruction/ Quality plans/Route sheet.Conduct inspection throughout welding operations such as preheating, heat input &welding parameters.• Reviewing ITP's and controlling all related activities as per quality standards.
