ESP8266 Custom FirmwareWrote a custom firmware for ESP8266 WiFi SoC to transmit any sensor data to an MQTT broker. It also enabled OTA updates and deep sleep mode, thus enabling the device firmware to be updated remotely and the device can be run on two AA batteries for around 1 year.
