Core member of the Mobile Messaging Team contributing to the design and development of an intelligent messaging infrastructure.Implemented several key components of a high-performance, scalable data processing pipeline using Spark (incl. Spark Streaming, Spark SQL), Kafka, Zookeeper and Cassandra capable of handling billions of messages a day.Utilized AngularJS and Spring Boot to develop a UI to visualize the results and facilitate effective management of business rules governing the pipeline .Researched, designed and implemented scalable Java application to crowd source the categorization of clustered texts leveraging AWS Mechanical Turk API.

•Developed, tested and maintained enterprise-wide application (Pre-paid Value Added Services) for a large telecommunications provider generating additional revenue.•Provided Level 2 and Level 3 technical support for the applications including code debugging, code refactoring, handling change requests and report generation based on client requirements.•Collaborated with several cross-functional teams to develop an interface in Java to update customer cellular usage statistics in Ericsson’s pre-paid billing system for a usage-based reward initiative to increase cellular usage. The application utilizes Java Servlets to expose HTTP APIs to front-end interfaces. Upon receiving the request, the customer is awarded bonus services (configured in an Oracle database) based on their usage. Ericcson IN is invoked via XMLRPC to provision the rewards in the pre-paid billing system.•Designed and implemented a Java application, utilizing Spring framework, enabling cellular customers to obtain detailed account information through SMS leading to increased customer satisfaction. The application interacts with a SOAP based Network Delivery Platform to deliver the SMS via SMSC.•Automated several daily/monthly customer usage statistics reports/reconciliations on Linux servers using shell scripts, boosting team productivity by 30%.
