Manager, Network Operations
Current-Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking equipment-Utilize monitoring tools to continuously monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize network resources for maximum efficiency and reliability-Lead a team of network engineers to troubleshoot and resolve network issues in a timely manner, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations-Implement and enforce network security policies and procedures to protect against unauthorized access, data breaches, and other security threats-Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments-Forecast future network capacity requirements based on business growth and technological advancements-Plan and execute network expansion projects as needed to accommodate increased demand-Evaluate and select third-party vendors for network hardware, software, and services-Negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships to ensure quality of service and cost-effectiveness-Recruit, train, and mentor a team of network engineers, providing guidance and support to help them develop their skills and advance their careers within the organization-Maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting stepsGenerate regular reports on network performance, uptime, and security compliance for management review-Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and procedures to ensure rapid recovery of network services in the event of a network outage or other disaster-Conduct periodic drills and tests to validate the effectiveness of the plans-Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, security, and business units, to ensure alignment of network initiatives with organizational goals-Communicate network status, issues, and project updates to stakeholders at all levels of the organization
