Social work, crisis intervention, family engagement, parental education, advocacy,rehousing, case planning, supervise the site and on shift staff members. Harm reduction approach, informal counselling, emotional and mental health support. Provided direction and support to the team. Worked in a fast paced environment with minimum supervision. Member of OH&S, participated in Shred for Cause and all areas of needs for women and children services department.

Assessment and intake worker. Took assessments, oriented clients to ensure quality service delivery. Participated in leading weekly group programs. Attended family court and First Nation Court with clients supporting them with their needs such as child custody, family dispute, substances and behaviour intervention program and other legal referral and otherwise support. Helped individuals with legal claims. Orientated new members and presented the agency and program to several post-secondary institutions. Actively participated in recruiting and training practicum students. Worked very well and closely with the program manager and all other counsellors and team members in the downtown office.

Worked with immigrants/ refugee youth and families in variety of settings and supported them with settlement in the new environment. Actively worked as an outreach worker helping families with resources they needed. Was an active peer support facilitator and language interpreter.
