Direct, lead and manage the Information Technology and Business Systems (ITBS) Directorate as a cost-effective and expert group developing and delivering information technology systems and services consistent with the policies, priorities and needs of the BOSTES’ goalsOversee the effective planning, management and operation of the ICT and business systems for the HSC programs, including delivering reliable and accurate student results electronically in accordance with Government and BOSTES requirementsManage the design, development, maintenance and operation of the technology supporting the Higher School Certificate (HSC), corporate information systems and other BOSTES programs, including identifying and affecting changes required as a result of Government and Board decisions and the need to make operational efficiencies Manage the investigation and implementation of technology in the BOSTES programs to deliver improvements in efficiency, quality and timelines, including the use of technology in examinations and online marking Manage the operation, security and maintenance of the BOSTES ICT systems and facilities Initiate, develop and implement effective plans and strategies to enhance the development and delivery of the BOSTES’ programs and services Oversee external ICT projects to ensure that contractual and service level obligations are met Perform effective research studies, investigations and evaluations in ICT and its applicability to BOSTES
