Modelling energy consumption within the tunnels to better relate with traffic and weather data for dynamic on/off state of the ventilation systems.7. Utilising technology and software to ensure processes and procedures are efficient, robust and effective.8. Ensuring proper documentation is prepared for internal and external parties.

1. Maintaining end to end complex data pipelines by designing the right data processing plan, choosing the right data sources and tools as part of data strategy2. Long term forecast of economic variables to then split into the demographics to estimate traffic numbers on our assets using FASSTER and TSLM time series models. 4. Estimating ship movements in and out of different ports to forecast numbers of containers both long term and short-term using ARIMA and TSLM models with moving averages and exponential smoothing.5. Setting up the batch file for time series processes to forecast efficiently and quickly as the new data comes in.6. Assisting with strategic and econometric model updates for changes in road network, land use, economic and other influencing factors, such that models are current.

This internship was part of Monash Industry Team Initiative (MITI) program where around 50 students were selected for different projects out of all the university students, be it at any level (undergrad, postgrad or research students). - My task at hand was to analyse traffic patterns and find out the reasons behind traffic deviations on a day-to-day basis. - Build one or multiple machine learning models which can take live data feed and give the feature importance. - Create a one-click tool (OCT) which depicts traffic patterns and list out the reasons behind fluctuation on a daily basis.
