Square helps millions of sellers run their business- from secure credit card processing to point of sale solutions. I worked as a product engineer for 3 teams at Square:Square Online Store - Shipped a new enhanced checkout flow leading to 2% lift in gross payment volume(GPV). - Shipped a theme engine that allowed merchants to choose from 6 templates for their online store.Square Invoices - Led a team of 3 front end engineers to build and grow Square Invoices to $3B in GPV processed. - Early member of the growth team that focused on A/B tests, referral programs and onboarding flow. Square Point of Sale - Shipped itemized refunds, which allowed merchants to issue refunds from Square's web dashboard. The focus was to make it easier for multi-location merchants to run their businesses. Itemized refund volume doubled as a result of this project.

Locbox was an omni-channel marketing tool funded by InterWest Ventures and later acquired by Square. It enabled small businesses to run marketing campaigns across several distribution channels(email, facebook, twitter).I played an instrumental part in growing the company to 1M ARR(600+ customers) and later acquisition by Square. Key points:- Tech lead of a team of 3 members for all front-end engineering projects. - Developed engineering hiring strategy(including interview process design, giving talks).- Managed and hired 4 design contractors to support the visual design of the product.- Drove features (like onboarding, reporting) end to end from writing requirement specs, design wireframing, writing code to launch and maintenance.- Represented the company at San Francisco Emberjs meetup in 2014 and 2015 and presented learnings from architecting the front-end codebase.

RockMelt was a social media web browser funded by Andressen Horowitz that raised $40M and was finally acquired by Yahoo. I worked as a JavaScript Platform Engineer for the company building several HTML5 apps like the RSS, Twitter app using the Chromium extension platform.

As a member of the User Experience Design(UED) team at eBay, I helped create prototypes which were used to do studies on user behavior and interaction on eBay.These prototypes were tiny greasemonkey applications that would allow simulating ui-experiments on live/production version of eBay's website. A couple of them were eventually integrated in the core website after user-testing and analysis.

I was part of a small team that built a completely new product 'Easy Database' from scratch, a product similar to Wufoo with a client side interface for form building. I led the front-end work on the product that grew to 2,000+ customers and $3M ARR in its first year.
