- Worked in the Dead Net Profit Calculation Tool which was used in making the correct the decisions for the category managers in the negotiation with vendors- Developed middleware of the application using technologies like Java, Microservices using Spring Cloud and exposed Rest APIs- Used Apache Kafka for loading the data from the database to the Elasticsearch where Elasticsearch was used for search functionalities- The report generated by the application contained various business KPIs which helped the category managers to take better decisions while negotiating with vendors- Developed a feature which fetched and displayed the chunk of KPI report from Elastic nodes instead of directly querying from DB. This improved response time from 3 minutes to 30 seconds
