I am an LPC-Intern with a Masters of Science degree in Counseling from Southern Methodist University, supervised by Jennifer McCurrach, LPC-S, of Concierge Counseling Services. My training at SMU was specific to licensure as an LPC, LMFT, and an LCDC. I am also pre-licensed as a chemical dependency counselor. My clinical experience to this point includes working with adolescents, couples, adults, and groups at the SMU Center for Family Counseling, The Vine Resource Center, and Concierge Counseling Services. I specialize in issues pertaining to suicide, cutting, childhood sexual abuse, depression, and domestic violence. Prior to counseling, I worked for 12 years as a homeschool educator for my own children and as an Administrator/Principal for a private academy in Chicago, IL. I received a Bachelor's of Science in Human Development and Christian Counseling from Hope International University in Fullerton, CA, and graduated with honors. I am currently employed with Concierge Counseling Services and serve as an independent contractor for The Vine Resource Center.
