• Under supervision of the Director of Operations and Support Services, performs a variety of responsible administrative and secretarial duties with student and personnel matters, and serves as assistant to the Executive Director. • Is thoroughly familiar with school policies and procedures • Problem solving, planning, organizing, typing/word processing, proofreading, filing, recording information, processing and distribution of all correspondence.• Maintain a high degree of confidentiality regarding all aspects of the school site operation; establish, maintain and ensure proper use of confidential files, • Maintain multiple calendars; organize appointments; receive visitors, and provide information or direct to appropriate personnel.• Problem solving involving students, parents, public, and office staff• Provides information and assistance related to school programs, schedules, activities, policies and procedures. • Assure timely communications between the office and school employees; initiate phone calls to receive and transmit information; receive, screen and route telephone calls• Research and compile a variety of information; compute statistical information for various State and District reports; process and evaluate a variety of forms and applications related to assigned functions• Prepare and maintain a variety of data, records and reports related to student information, discipline, health and assigned activities; establish and maintain filing systems.• Input attendance, enrollment and other student data maintain automated records; generate a variety of computerized reports; assure accuracy of input and output data; assure mandated reports are completed and submitted according to established time lines.
