Mitzi is a Visual Communications graduate of the University of the Philippines-Diliman's College of Fine Arts. She is a learning experience designer at Habi Education Lab and has been self-publishing her own comics over the last 5 years. As a learning experience designer, she creates well-designed learning experiences through workshops, learning materials, and online courses to name a few. As a comic creator, her self-published works include a fantasy trilogy called “The Nowhere Tree”, a variety of one-shot comic titles named “Karnaval”, “Diary of Meditations'', and “Glass Heart''. She’s currently working on “Hele'', a historical fiction graphic novel about Philippine Jazz, as part of the final selection of the Philippine International Comics Festival (PICOF) in 2022. She is an advocate of education and storytelling in learning is an integral part of her work that she wishes to develop and share with everyone.
