Bare metal firmware development for the wearable device, mobile application and API development on Android, Bluetooth Low Energy connectivity. Product achieved FDA approval and helped Proteus achieve a one billion dollar valuation.* Firmware development for a body worn patch that delivers the painkiller fentanyl transdermally to postoperative patients in a hospital setting. FDA Major Level of Concern Software, the primary software function is safety monitoring. Developed user space application daemons for inter-process communication and real-time calculation of safety alarm parameters. Ported Android Froyo to custom hardware design, custom touchscreen driver, integrated 2G cellular modem for data connection, integrated Android app with cloud. Member of the Data Systems Technology Group in the Commercial Airplanes Flight Test organization.* Software Lead of sustaining activities for an embedded Linux based real-time data monitoring system used on aircraft during flight testing of the 787 airplane. Issue tracking, triage and prioritization. Lead feature change and problem resolution development. Assisted in quality assurance and release activities. 24x7 on-call support of flight testing.* Redesigned core components to improve data processing time from 24 hours to 2 hours for large multiple terabyte data sets. Improvements increased in-flight throughput resulting in greater stability and system capacity.

Member of the I/O & Data Systems Group in the Commercial Airplanes Systems Integration Test Labs. * Embedded software and desktop application development for the 787 Brake Systems test bench simulator. The system was used for bench testing and performance evaluation of brake systems through real-time, hardware-in-the-loop testing.* Qt application development on Linux for data acquisition systems used in R&D test labs such as the 787 Landing Gear Test Rig, 787 Flight Controls Actuation Lab and multiple wind tunnel labs. Embedded software development on VxWorks for real-time data acquisition subsystem. Refactored user interface to resolve over 30 problem reports.
