Hi! I’m Mia. I am a Designer, Creative Director and entrepreneur. An avid pop culture consumer who has grown numerous fan communities both online and offline across Instagram, Twitter and Tiktok. I have been a creative and artistic individual since I was a kid as I spent my early days in art schools. As someone who consciously consumers media; movies, shows and music videos have instilled in me the foundations of storytelling, a tool I use to create visually compelling brands and narratives.My entrepreneurial journey began during the pandemic when I launched my ecommerce store that now has around 800 sales with 98,000 views. As a computer science student with no prior knowledge or experience in business, I was able to achieve this success in my year by hosting pop-up events in the city through marketing campaigns and experiential marketing to focus on bringing communities together after the pandemic. The pop up stores received a raving response and I was able to explore more about advertising, project management and production design all while working part-time as well as being a full-time student. I believe in living and leading with purpose. After burning through job applications, I decided to bring my ambitious projects to life by redesigning my portfolio in Fall 2023 which led me to publishing my Spotify Wrapped 2023 project. This journey reinstated my belief in my talent and my dream of becoming a Creative Director. This year, I am launching my design agency and Artist Merchandise Brand, Beyond Ambitious(BEY.MOND). Our brand’s mission is to elevate the exciting fan experience through our EXCLUSIVE merchandise collection and create opportunities for fans through our affiliates program. Stories create new avenues for us to see and experience the world differently. Through this personal venture, I wish to touch more lives and create a bigger impact in society.
