As a documentary filmmaker and an editing apprentice, I have gained valuable skills and experience in film production, storytelling, and creative expression. I am currently pursuing a BA in Documentary Filmmaking from Spelman College, where I am also minoring in Game Design and Film & Visual Culture. I have received multiple honors and awards for my academic and entrepreneurial achievements, such as the HBCU-UNCF Getty Images Scholarship, the Center for Black Entrepreneurship Scholarship, and the Spelpreneur - Kalon grant. I have worked on various projects and initiatives that showcase my passion and vision for social justice, cultural diversity, and artistic innovation. Some of these include working as a Nonfiction Development Intern at Proximity Media, a Director with the HBCU Beats Black Creators cohort, and a member of the HBCU in LA program. I am also an active member of the BElite Collective, a youth-led branch of Eternal Seeds 501(c)(3), where I have taught as an instructor and been commissioned for projects. My goal is to further my career as a writer-director, while continuing to build my startup company.
